Xanga Glitter Graphics HOWTO

Guide to adding an image to your Xanga profile.

To use a graphic on your weblog:

• Choose a graphic you like and copy the code in the box underneath the image. (To copy, select the text, right click once and select 'copy'.)
• Go to Xanga, then "New Weblog Entry", and check "Edit HTML"
• In the white box, paste the code you just copied. (To paste the code: simultaneously press 'control' and 'v' on your keyboard.)

To use one of our Xanga backgrounds:

• Find the background you want and then look at the code section. Since Xanga doesn't allow CSS, you need to find the part that goes: http://dl.glitter-graphics.com/pub/... and copy that. (To copy, highlight the text, right click and select 'copy'.)
• On Xanga, go to the Look and Feel Editor and find the part that says Background.
• At pic: right-click and select paste. (The image location of your background should be pasted. To check: it has to start with 'http' and end with 'gif'.)
• Xanga gives you the option to select tiling or non-tiling mode. Usually, you will select "Repeat in all directions", which will make your image tiled.
